When you bookmark a webpage Internet Explorer will add this page to your favorites list so you don't have to remember the name of the website in the future and you can always go to that site by clicking on 'Favorites' on the top menu bar of Internet Explorer and simply scroll down and select the link that was added to your favorites list.
